A happy Sue holds up the POTY 2006 Trophy

In the three years under the care of Jase and Sue, The Coachmakers Arms has achieved numerous awards from several organisations, most noticeably from CAMRA, The PPPG and The BBPA. While the recognition of these awards is welcomed and appreciated it was not the intention of Jase and Sue to gain these awards, the aim was merely to have a pub that we would drink in; ie. a safe comfortable and friendly pub where one could hold a conversation without having to shout above the din of a blaring juke box, karaoke machine or the clatter of fruit machines. It is these points and the fact that one could choose from a wide range of fantastic beers that was the primary aim. While the receipt of these awards is appreciated there can, in our eyes, be no better reward than standing back and watching people having a good time and knowing that we have provided that environment for the community.
